Safety Policy
Provide a work environment which protects the health, safety and welfare of all employees and other persons at the workplace.
Accept responsibility to train and assist all employees in safe work practices, and seeks the full support and co-operation of all employees.
Our Commitment:
- Senior management will meet its obligations to the Act, Regulations, Codes and Standards, by ensuring a site safety visit is conducted prior to commencement of work at all of our workplaces.
- All persons employed by Goanna Earthmoving, including contractors or other persons involved with the operations of Goanna Earthmoving, have a personal responsibility to Goanna Earthmoving, their fellow workers, themselves and the general public to adopt and maintain appropriate workplace health and safety standards in all their work activities.
Our Safety Management Plan Includes:
- Identifying site-specific hazards;
- Assessing the risks that may result from hazards;
- Ensuring safe working systems, procedures, work practices and other control measures to prevent or minimise exposure to these risks are conducted at our client workplaces;
- Providing proper protective equipment;
- Induction and training activities that ensure all employees are provided with adequate knowledge and skills for maintaining safe workplaces;
- Involving personnel in discussions and decisions that improve workplace health and safety conditions; and
- A reporting system that ensures management is quickly informed.
At all times Goanna Earthmoving will maintain workplace health and safety as a priority, and will not knowingly demand or expect any person to participate in any activities which are likely to be detrimental to their workplace health and safety.
